Making Hybrid Work Simple

Recently, RingCentral participated in Enterprise Connect, an enterprise conference and expo that brings together those focused on issues central to enterprise communication and collaboration. It was thrilling to participate in this invigorating gathering and to be part of a keynote speech in which RingCentral shared and celebrated how we make hybrid work simple by offering unprecedented mobility across messaging, video, and the leading business phone system, all in one trusted platform. 

While the pandemic disrupted the way many of us do our work, soon came the great pivot: hybrid work. With the advent of here-to-stay hybrid work arose new problems ranging from companies trying to make legacy systems work with the cloud to employees wanting their work tech environment to be more similar to their personal tech environment – which is nothing new, but making things more seamless becomes all the more important when work and home blended into one place. All the while, customers have been asking us one main question: how can I run and grow my business as simply as possible even amid these unexpected, challenging conditions? In response to this complex problem, RingCentral offers simple answers: tech that is simple to set up, simple to run, and simple to manage. 

To make tech that is simple to set up, we continue to look at how we enable what we call “radical mobility.” That involves untethering employees so they can connect from anywhere and however they wish. This requires making it simpler than ever to switch back and forth between devices and even from devices to group meetings or “rooms.” We view such radical flexibility and mobility as inclusive and essential to today’s work. 

To facilitate tech that is simple to run, we consider how to help businesses host smarter meetings in today’s hybrid environment. Tools like our whiteboard, collaborative notes, and enhanced companion mode for rooms alongside advanced meeting insights and AI-generated overviews and meeting summaries help to combat meeting fatigue and to improve feelings of inclusion. And, we’ve added even more tools, like mobile to room transfer and voice commands within rooms, to make being in a virtual meeting feel as close to being in an in-person meeting as possible.

To help companies simplify managing their business, we’ve reimagined webinars, offering a stress-free solution that makes setting up a webinar as easy as arranging a RingCentral video meeting. We believe that just because something is high stakes does not mean it needs to be high stress! 

Lastly, at Enterprise Connect, we introduced what we call “line of business analytics” to inform, empower, and help your company’s hybrid work strategies. This helps every team within your company to make better, faster, data-backed decisions.
